‘American Bull’ to vie at Sguardi Altrove festival

Iranian short film ‘American Bull’ has been set to compete at the upcoming edition of the Sguardi Altrove Film Festival (SAFF) in Italy.

‘American Bull’, directed by Fatemeh Tousi, will be screened at the 27h edition of the SAFF, which will open on Friday.

The 14-minute film narrates the story of a young boy named Saheb who lives in a village near the border between Iran and Iraq.

Saheb owns a bull and is dependent on it for earning a living.

'American Bull' grabbed an award at the 2020 edition of Dhaka International Youth Film Festival in Bangladesh.

The 27th edition of the SAFF will take place online on October 23-31 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
